VICE website magazine have picked up on Rogue Archaeologists shovel test pitting results adjacent Roe 8. The article is good but got a few things wrong.
Fiona Hook was the excavation director assisted by Joe Dortch.
Contrary to the article Rogue Archaeologists think the approvals process being manipulated to enable Roe 8 to be built thru a important mythological site and against the wishes of the majority of Traditional Owners is wrong.
In addition it will not be too late by the election to investigate/save the subsurface artefacts as currently only the surface has been impacted. Artefacts were located up to a 1 m below the surface in our shovel test pits.
